Spring 2015 – H&M Look

b1

Being out, in the sun, is one of the best ways to spend a day. I love everything about spring – especially my birthday (well, who doesn’t enjoy their own birthday?). There’s something about this season that inspires and motivates me. I love walking on the boulevards/streets of Targu Mures, enjoying the weather. It’s pure happiness.

”It’s the sun that gives me lots of energy every day. I was born on a sunny day of April and I’m still in love with its light and warmth. Spring is my season – lots of flowers, bright colors and sunny days!” – This is a caption of a photo posted by me on Instagram (@andradaprd). This is what spring means to me.

As some of you might know already, I’m (intensely) getting ready to graduate. With this occasion, I went out with Luci and Csilla to take some photos. Actually, Luci worked more than us, because the difficult task was his – but now Csilla and I have some great photos to share 😀 The weather helped us and the place (Hotel Privo, Targu Mures) was also fabulous.

Let’s take some graduation photos!

blogg

”It’s already march and I really can’t believe it! September was like 3 weeks ago” – I’m thinking, as I keep on looking at some pictures on We Heart It. Lately, it’s been my favorite activity for a lazy Saturday & Sunday morning. I wasn’t planning to think about Graduation or school, not today. Not on this cloudy day. I’d rather think of summer, instead.

I couldn’t helped myself when I noticed these beautiful portraits of two models and, instantly, it popped into my mind that, next week, my class is going to take some graduation photos – HOORAY!

March is the start of  the “Getting ready for graduation!” process, I’d say. It’s exciting to think that, in less than 80 days (it’s not like I’m counting or something :D), we’ll end another chapter in our lives and this chapter is called ‘Highschool’.

I can’t wait to talk with you more about this subject and to share with you my ideas. I will soon show you pictures of the outfit we (girls) are going to wear that day + (later – in April) the prom dress and the process of making it.

What are your favorite make-up products? Are you, as well, finishing highscool this May? Let me know!

Washing my hair once a week – My experience!

b1

As a girl who’s in love with her long, dark hair (and not only), I can say that it’s pretty hard, though, to take care of it. Washing and drying it involves a lot of time and patience – but I don’t mind drying it as long as I’m listening to music and singing (it’s an advantage that I don’t hear myself :)) ) – and if you’re in a hurry, then things get serious: you give up and decide to tie it in a pony tail. Well, I still think that having it tied at school is more comfortable.

People close to me know that I love washing my hair. It’s a personal thing. I love having it clean and smooth – and I really dislike seeing someone with dirty hair. I just don’t like it.

After being told multiple times that I should stop washing my hair every 2 days (not by my hairstylist), I’ve decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE! My hair has always been healthy and long and I’ve always washed it every 2 – 3 days. It’s been long since I was 6. I don’t see myself with short hair, it’s not my style, it doesn’t define me. I use a different shampoo and hair conditioner every 2 – 3 months, I blow dry it always (only during summer I let it dry naturally) and I straighten it every 2 – 3 days (I think I have something with these numbers) – and it’s always been healthy. I’m just lucky – even though it’s not as thick as I would like it to be and, unfortunately, it’s never been very thick – but I’m okay with that 😀

Let’s get back to the subject. Why was it a big mistake? Well, except the fact that I was feeling really weird not washing my hair for 5, 6 days, after washing it (yesterday), it’s all tangled and damaged. I don’t recommend you to keep it dirty for so long, especially if it’s used to being washed often. If it’s not, then it’s okay. But for my hair, it was a bad decision.

Remember that what works for me, may not work for you!

I’m curious about you. Do you like washing it only once a week? I’m waiting to read your comments and opinions 🙂

Happy Woman’s Day, beauties!

b2

Hello, my beauties! Today is dedicated to you, to us, to every single woman. You all deserve to be treated like queens, because that’s what you are! Feel beautiful, confident, loved, blessed, unstoppable and strong – not only today, but everyday.

There are so many things a woman should be grateful for! Buy gifts for yourself whenever you want, dance a lot – it will make you feel more relaxed, buy lots of flowers, sing, dress up, drink wine, make plans to achieve your goals, go shopping, eat a little cupcake, cry if you feel the need (it’s not the end of the world if you feel upset once in a while) but be happy after that! You matter!

I’m a strong believer in love. Love – relationships, friendships and respect. I do believe that women should help each other, love each other. Let’s be glamorous and successful, all of us! You don’t mess with a woman who has found herself through being picked on. Walk with your head up. Always. Enjoy privacy and silence – these are the real luxuries.

“If you believe in yourself and realize how wonderful you are, you can do anything.” – I’ve just seen this on one of the chicest girls on Twitter. Silky pajamas and a good magazine – the perfect way to enjoy a Sunday & Women’s Day.

I wish you all a beautiful spring full of sunny days and pretty moments. You all deserve it, cuties!

Love begins at home!

blog

Senior Year – maybe the most difficult time, at least for me. I’m not talking about studying. I’m really not talking about it. It’s all about moving – (I’m not a patient person) or about waiting to move. Starting in a new place, breaking this tiring routine and, for a friendly person like me, meeting people. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not waiting to be away from my beloved ones, but I need my own place with my ideas – more like: our ideas – Well, who doesn’t? I love my ‘kind of’ pink room but now it’s time for a change. It’s time to work and to achieve my dreams.

I don’t know how many of you know about my passion for home decor. Spending a lot of time on We Heart It, looking for ideas and making plans over plans. Career, traveling and, of course, moving in with my guy – all of these are used as motivation, in order to get over a bad day or to study even more. Therefore, tonight, after a session of studying, I’ve decided to write and to upload some photos of my inspiration when it comes to home decor.
